Review by hotel critic
During my recent stay at Hotel Miradouro, I was pleasantly surprised by the unique blend of history and culinary innovation it offers. Check-in was efficient, with a thoughtful message prior providing me with essential details. The ambiance of the hotel, built in the 1960s, is preserved beautifully, allowing guests to appreciate its craftsmanship. The highlight of my experience was dining at the panoramic restaurant. The views over Porto's city center added a distinct charm to the meal. Each dish was a delightful interpretation of local specialties, far surpassing a typical hotel dining experience. I particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast, which featured a diverse selection, including freshly scrambled eggs and seasonal vegetables. The staff were exceptionally professional and friendly, always ready to provide recommendations for local dining beyond the hotel. The cleanliness and attention to detail, despite the hotel's age, made my stay comfortable. the ample parking availability was a significant advantage, particularly in Porto, where parking can be challenging.
